The POWER UP workshop is all about exercise.
Understanding what works for women in midlife and making a game plan to suit you and keep you strong.
Along with our diet its one of the corner stones to staying healthy, not just through menopause but as we age it really is non- negotiable!
But so much of the research done on exercise is done on men.
I’m currently studying exercise that is specific to women our age and that benefits not just every aspect of our physical well being but also out mental and emotional health while also helping with all the challenging symptoms of Perimenopause.
Exercise that makes us strong but not knackered, strengthens our muscles, bones, as well as supporting our hearts, brain function, even our memory.
In fact it supports us right down to the mitochondria in our cells!
One of the approaches we'll look at is lifting heavy, why its so amazing for us and how to do it safely.
This workshop is for perimenopausal women that have done the RISE UP workshop or Post Menopausal women.
